Privacy Policy
Willovit ("Willovit", "we", "us") makes sealed letters that open on a date you choose. The app is built to be private by default: your letters are end-to-end encrypted on your device before they leave it, and using Willovit does not require an account. This policy explains what we handle and why.
Information we handle
- Your letters and their contents (text and any photo you attach) are encrypted on your iPhone before they are sent. We only ever move and store an unreadable, encrypted blob together with the delivery date. We cannot read your letters, and neither can anyone else who does not hold the key.
- Pairing information. To connect you with the person you write to, Willovit exchanges a pairing identifier (for example via a QR code). This lets sealed letters reach the right recipient without usernames, email addresses, or a social graph.
- No accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or a password to use the app.
- Diagnostics. We may receive limited, aggregated crash and performance diagnostics to keep the app working. Where this is provided through Apple, it is subject to your device settings.
- Purchases. Any purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not see or store your payment card details.
How we use it
We use the limited information above to deliver your sealed letters on schedule, to operate and secure the service, and to diagnose and fix problems. We do not use your letter contents for advertising or profiling — we can't, because we can't read them.
iCloud & sync
Your encryption keys are kept in your device keychain and your sealed letters may sync through your personal iCloud so they follow you to a new phone. This data is tied to your Apple account and governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy. We do not have access to your iCloud or your keys.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the service (for example, Apple's platform and cloud services for delivery and sync), and only to the extent required to provide Willovit or to comply with law.
Retention & your choices
An encrypted sealed letter is stored until it is delivered on its chosen date, or until it is deleted. You can delete a sealed letter before its day arrives. You can remove all local data by deleting the app, and you may manage synced data through your Apple account. To make a request or ask a question about your data, contact us at hello@raulhg.com.
Security
Letters are end-to-end encrypted on-device, keys are held in the secure keychain, and only ciphertext is transmitted and stored. No method of transmission or storage is ever perfectly secure, but privacy is the core of how Willovit is designed.
Children
Willovit is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age required to form a binding agreement in their country (generally 13, or higher where local law requires).
International users
Willovit may be operated from, and use service providers located in, countries other than your own. By using the app you understand that limited operational data may be processed in those locations.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.

Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Willovit app and related services (the "Service"). By downloading or using Willovit, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service
Willovit lets you write a letter, seal it, and schedule it to open for one recipient on a chosen date. Once a letter is sealed, its contents cannot be edited — that is intentional. You may delete a sealed letter before its delivery date.
Eligibility
You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country to use Willovit. If you are not, please do not use the Service.
Your content and conduct
You keep all rights to the letters and photos you create. You are solely responsible for the content you write and the choices you make about who receives it, and you represent that you have the right to send it. Because your content is end-to-end encrypted, we do not and cannot monitor it. You agree not to use Willovit to send content that is unlawful, harassing, abusive, hateful, or that infringes the rights of others, or to use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Delivery
We aim to open each sealed letter at the time you choose, in the recipient's timezone. Delivery depends on factors outside our control — including the recipient installing the app and pairing, device availability, operating-system behaviour, and network conditions. Willovit is not a guaranteed or time-critical delivery service, and you should not rely on it for urgent or essential communications.
Purchases
Some features may be offered as one-time in-app purchases, processed by Apple through the App Store. Prices and availability may change. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store's policies.
Intellectual property
The Willovit app, its name, logo, and design are owned by us and protected by applicable law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding except as needed to use the Service.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any letter will be delivered at a particular time.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Willovit and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or of a letter's delivery, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
Termination
You may stop using Willovit at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, where reasonably necessary to operate, protect, or improve it or to comply with law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Willovit is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. (Confirm the specific jurisdiction with your legal adviser before publishing.)
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
